Terri M. Roberts

Terri has been an educator & speaker for over 20 years. She is the creator of The Pink Dumbbell Problem (PDP), a YouTube channel base on her master's thesis of the same name.  The PDP is focused on fitness, feminism, & philosophy. Terri is the first researcher to combine feminist theory and agnotology -the study of ignorance - with fitness instruction pedagogy.  As the survivor of a crash caused by an impaired driver she also presents on her journey back to physical wellness.

She is the former Executive Director of the NSFA, where she also served as a course conductor, writer & editor of course manuals, and board member of Fitness Leadership Canada.

Terri is the recipient of numerous awards for education & leadership including the MSVU Alumnae Legacy Award for business leadership in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, and Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee Medal for Services to Education. 

On the side, she is also  a published author of language learning books in Celtic languages. She often presents her books in schools and teacher training sessions.
