Stephanie is a User Experience (UX) practitioner. She is a lifelong learner and mentor, eager to share her craft. Stephanie has been speaking at conferences and facilitating workshops since 1996. Her knowledge spans usability, information architecture, accessibility, content strategy, web writing, and web governance.
Regardless of the topic, Stephanie’s aim is to help people understand the role their websites play in creating trusted relationships. She believes the web should never be an obstacle between your customers and your products and services. It should be a bridge. Her style is described as engaging, often humorous, and filled with practical information that can be used right away.
Stephanie has been an independent consultant since 2017. She works with clients to understand their goals and audiences, and the connection between them. Stephanie blends strategy with empathy, to craft user-centric experiences that drive measurable results. Prior to going independent, she spent 12 years as a UX lead at a digital agency. She started her career at an Internet Service Provider selling dial-up accounts. Roles as e-marketing manager with an email service provider, then as product manager for a search engine followed.
Most recently, Stephanie has packaged her knowledge into a website user experience book: Would You Date Your Website? How to create a website that will grow lasting relationships—and your business. It's full of valuable insights to help marketers create websites that grow lasting relationships.
