Tuesday October 20, 2026 at 6:30om - The Right Tool for the Job: The tools we are loving (or not!) for organizing our business needs and for creating content.
Wednesday November 18, 2026 at 6:30pm - Social Media & Website Tips: Sharing the little insights and tricks that help us be seen and heard.
Sessions are free for Speakers Nova Scotia members! All sessions are online, via Zoom.
Past Events
In the spring of 2026 we held the first 3 sessions of our 6-park Peer-to-Peer learning series.
The annual general meeting (AGM) of the Public Speakers Society of Nova Scotia was be held online, via Zoom, on February 22nd, 2026.
On October 4, 2025 we celebrated our 1st Anniversary with coffee, cake, and a great networking session in Halifax.
We were honoured to be included at the TEDXArgyleStreet event on August 9, 2025 at the Lighthouse Arts Centre in Halifax. We had an information booth and spoke with so many wonderful people throughout the event.
Our AGM was online (video) on February 10th, 2025. The board members are all ratified as the official directors, and we received a special congratulations on our formation from the Honourable Lena Metlege Diab, Member of Parliament for Halifax West.
Our 1st event was a great success! We met on November 17, 2024 for Coffee Talk! The general consensus among the attendees was that this sort of discussion was especially valuable. We also got dozens of great ideas for SNS to work on to provide service to our members.
