• Our AGM will online (video) and will be  held on February 10th, 2025 at 6:00pm. The meeting will be online, so please email us at speakersnovascotis@gmail.com to RSVP and get the call link.  Please note, only those who are paid members will be allowed to vote at the AGM, anyone not a member is welcome to attend as an observer. 

• We are currently planning our next Coffee Talk for March of 2025.  Please check back here in mid-February for full details. 

Past Events

Our 1st event was a great success!

We met on November 17, 2024 for Coffee Talk, our new signature event! The general consensus among the attendees was that this sort of discussion was especially valuable. We also got dozens of great ideas for SNS to work on to provide service to our members.

The board has decided we will hold more Coffee Talk events! We are currently looking into holding this event 3 times per year, so stay tuned for future dates & locations!

Coffee Talk is a combination meet & greet and information session on SNS membership.

It is open to anyone doing speaking work such as lectures, key notes, motivational, or informational speeches, MCing, podcasting or YouTubing, facilitating discussions, leading workshops, cultural storytelling, cultural teachings, land acknowledgements, prose or poetry readings, or anyone who books these sorts of presenters for events. Membership is open to speakers who present in any language.
