Pam Lovelace
Pam is a seasoned public leader, policy specialist, and community advocate with more than 20 years of experience in public service, governance, and stakeholder engagement. A former Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Halifax Regional Municipality, Pam has held leadership roles across government, post-secondary, and nonprofit sectors, championing equity, transparency, and sustainable development.
With a Master of Education in adult education and certifications in intercultural competency, crisis communication, finance and leadership, Pam brings a systems-thinking approach to complex challenges. She has led community-focused initiatives in youth engagement, gender equity in political leadership, community capacity building, and public policy.
A skilled public speaker and media spokesperson, Pam has been a trusted voice in high-profile interviews, panel discussions, and community forums. Her experience in media relations includes representing municipal leadership in times of crisis, leading public education campaigns, organizing community events, and communicating with clarity and compassion on issues such as housing, emergency response, and social equity.
Pam’s leadership style is rooted in inclusive evidence-based decision-making and a deep commitment to building stronger, more resilient communities. She is a dedicated volunteer, a passionate advocate for inclusive policy, and a sought-after collaborator known for bringing people together to solve problems and drive meaningful change.
