Colin Allen 

Colin was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the youngest of five children. Amid the turbulence of the “Troubles” his family immigrated to Canada. This transition was one of many factors that shaped his resilience, adaptability, and lifelong belief that every challenge carries the potential for growth. Colin has built a distinguished career as a Sales Manager with more than 30 years of experience in the textile and manufacturing sectors. He has represented and sold to globally recognized brands including Nike, Adidas, Roots, and Magna, earning a reputation for disciplined leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to excellence. His professional path reflects both technical expertise and a deep understanding of how strong relationships drive long-term success. 

His personal journey has been equally defining. Losing both parents at 23 strengthened his belief in accountability and intentional living. Now more than 400 days sober, he speaks openly about the power of personal responsibility and the courage required to rebuild and redefine one’s life. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Colin is an accomplished martial artist and competitive fencer, earning medals at events hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger and others . 

He serves as an instructor with Medieval Canada and Irish Stick Fighting Canada, sharing his passion for historical martial arts. A lifelong music enthusiast, he is also an avid guitar player. A proud father and grandfather to six grandchildren, Colin approaches life with curiosity, gratitude, and a deep appreciation for human connection. Guided by the question “What is your WHY?”, he views life as an ongoing adventure—one shaped by the choices we make and the people we meet along the way.
